Neck Redness

Neck redness is caused by broken capillaries as a result of sun damage to the skin. When the redness is prominent on the side of the neck and spared under the chin it is sometimes referred to as Poikiloderma of Cervatte.

Neck redness is treated with Elos or IPL treatments which treat both the redness and any brown spots also caused by sun damage. The result is a more evenly coloured neck.

It is important to protect this area from UV damage by regularly wearing appropriate sunscreens.
