Ultrasound Vein Mapping

Ultrasound Vein Mapping is performed before any treatment for varicose veins and to exclude deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

At Palm Clinic before we proceed to treating your varicose veins or spider veins we have one of our very experienced vein sonographers perform an ultrasound map.  This gives us a detailed map of both the superficial veins and the deep veins and allows us to more accurately plan the best treatment. Treatments at Palm Clinic are non surgical where possible using the latest techniques of endovenous laser ablation and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy.

If you have symptoms suggestive of DVT we will also perform a deep vein ultrasound which can make the diagnosis with certainty.
