Dr Mary Swan

Dr. Mary Swan joined the Palm team in January 2017. Originally from Ireland, Mary completed her undergraduate medical training in Scotland and worked in several large teaching hospitals in the south of England before immigrating to New Zealand in 2013. She worked in the field of Urgent Care Medicine and General Practice before undergoing post-graduate training in Phlebology (study of vein disorders).
Mary is a certified sclerotherapist who uses Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy for the non-surgical treatment of varicose veins and microsclerotherpay for spider veins. She is currently preparing for the diploma in procedural phlebology, and has won the gold medal for certificate of Sclerotherapy at the International Congress of Phlebology.
