As we age a number of factors contribute to facial sagging.
These combined factors cause the facial volume to collapse a bit like a deflating balloon.
Fortunately there a number of treatment processes that can improve facial sagging. At Palm Clinic we are particularly keen on volumising with Dermal Fillers which creates a very natural youthful re-contouring of the face with the emphasis restored to the upper cheeks. For more serious facial sagging a facelift with Dr Stephen Mills at Palm Clinic may be considered.
BOTOX can also used to lift the eyebrows and jaw line. If neck and jowls are the primary area of sagging, cosmetic surgery with Dr Stephen Mills at Palm Clinic may be an option. To discuss your options make an appointment with one of our experienced doctors.
Facial sagging affects men as well as women and more and more men are wanting to address the problem. The two main treatments are volumising with Dermal Fillers or a facelift with Dr Stephen Mills.
Volumising works by restoring the depleted volume in the mid and lower face using dermal fillers which pull the skin up and provides a very natural lift. We place the dermal fillers in vector lines to place tension on the skin where it is needed. Palm Clinic doctors have been at the forefront of this technique using specially designed cannulas from Paris to minimise bruising.
If the facial sagging is more severe a facelift may be required. Your Palm Clinic doctor can refer you to Dr Stephen Mills our resident cosmetic surgeon who can advise on this.
